ONE PARAGRAPH VERSION:

---Because it always elects the candidate most exactly in the middle of all voting,Ranked Ballot ("RB", each voter ranking all candidates in order of preference) is
"top-dead-center-counter-extremist" & more anti-terrorist than all the recent retrenchments combined. While it would be equally useful for all else, RB’s real power is perhaps most clearly shown in the case of potential tribal-
civil war, as in Iraq. Unless the Parliament comes to select its Prime Minister by RB, it may not hold, & the world will be in danger of going to war over some oil well,
or multi-ethnic city. RB would be equally useful for all other parliamentary &/or presidential systems, cooperatives, collective leaderships, movements, tribal
groupings, religious confessions, political parties & associations as well.
---Because it gives the minorities a real say in which majority member gets chosen, RB is the only thing that will lead them to support of any plan more than inadequate
confederation. Because it gives all combinations of programs, not just parties, an equal chance, RB is the
only thing that's truly just. Because it provides real-time alternatives to all proposals, from wherever: market, coop or social, RB has brakes, reverse, 3D hyper-drive & goes sideways. It will result in “phantasmagoric subtlefaction”. Both more liberty and justice can be found in RB than in any ideology. Help put this idea,
in time (before “clockwork orange”, “1984”, cosmic collision, armageddon or “category seven”) to as many as
possible. The $15,000 cost of a single full-page ad in USA Today, enough to put RB to virtually everyone involved on earth, would be repaid in a year & a half at the
pre-9/11 US annual defense spending of $10,000 per family.
We imagine running on the single issue of RB, allowing a citizens' advisory board based on ”Organized Communications" ("OC", small randomly assigned discussion groups electing reps to higher & higher levels by means
of RB til one small group, exactly in the middle, remains) to guide us in the rest.
You do the same, from the most local on up. (Ten to the power of ten: ten levels of groups of ten, would be sufficient to organized & unite all mankind.)
The "additive" form of RB is first choices being counted & then, if noone has 50 %(+), the next choices being added in, & so on, until someone finally does. RB is the sole unchangeable plank & bylaw of the Preferential (what it’s

---The sole unchangeable plank & bylaw of the PBP is "preferential", "Australian", "ranked", "weighted", "instant-runoff" ballot. Ranked Ballot ("RB") is where each voter ranks all candidates in order or preference. Then all the first choices are added up & if noone has 50%+, all the second choices are added in & so on until someone does finally get 50%. This will always be the person exactly in the middle of everyone voting. The Preferential Ballot Party (PBP")is the only practicable third party, & it’s current project & self-organizing principle is Organized Communications ("OC"), where small randomly assigned discussion groups elect reps to higher & higher levels by preferential ballot until one small group is left at the top which by it’s merest nod names the next winner of the next election, regardless of momentary law, thereby installing Preferential Ballot ("PB") instantly & inevitably globally, including the troublesome Mid-East. Because it makes its majority from the middle, preferentiality is top dead center & thus counter-extremist & thus anti-terrorist. It is just because it gives all persons & combinations of policy an equal chance of winning, & is phantasmagorically subtlefactory. It is a can’t lose, mechanism, that none will not want to be part of. Please help.

Organized Communications (OC), aka Speed [{Dating}] Politics, is the path to total instant subtlefaction, TOP-DEAD-CENTER- (as opposed to jumping back & forth between the prongs of the American republicratic dilemma) COUNTER-EXTREMIST, can’t lose, all Justice & all Freed-um AND all Security giving, preferentiality everywhere, no matter what any legislatures do, yet again, to try to pull the ladder just out of reach & prevent third parties from running or winning. ---Organized Communications, aka Speed {Dating} Politics is randomly assigned, extra-legal (as opposed to ill-eagle) discussion groups electing reps to higher & higher levels by preferential ballot, until the one group left at the top gives the nod to the inevitable winner of the next election. By means of these groups we will allow full discussion & expression by each participant. The discussions could be web published for all concerned. These groups will represent the exact middle of everyone who choses to participate, eventually & necessarily replacing all other political discourse & organization. Thus, the dreams of all mankind will be fulfilled, though not necessarily in the form any had imagined.

---Everyone in the developed world has probably heard of speed dating, & OC is similar, except adapted to the area of politics. There would be one cycle per political season. Perhaps nine persons per group would work, since there are only three general areas: social, economic & foreign policy & three general directions: forward, back & stay the course. Otherwise, each group might be equal approximately to the number of levels. Ten to the power of ten is 10 billion, more than enough for the entire planet to participate. Noone in the world would possibly want to be left out. Groups, as appropriate to the seriousness of politics, would have much more time to better get to know each other than is the case with mere speed-dating. It would require only a bingo machine to assign the groups. Old world, derivative, elitist, only seemingly more respective of minorities, group-focused-instead-of-individual-focused, schizoid/bipolar proportionality which could have easily produced Hitler, even if it technically did or did not, will not work here. Imagine an Arab country under proportionality once a religious party gets the plurality & forms the next government. Won’t they be tempted to try & burn a few Reichstags of their own?

---Preferentiality is the solution to the totality of ALL the world's ills. All human evil is due to the out of phase fluctuations of population & food supply, from the first time the first hunter remembered the first fight over stray injured game in some bad year & acted preemptively. People are not evil, but merely selfish, terrorized or trapped in a time warp. Noone alive is responsible for the situation in which we all find ourselves. Who pushed who over in the kiddie pool will just have to do for the Satanists. Meet em in the sky, bio-sci, the vitual manifestation in the real world of the Buddhist principle of the non-substantiality of the soul. The fiercer the history of the planet, the sooner it would have arrived at a state of ethnic homogeneity & been blissed out behind complete democracy. Polling indicates that the American people are much more fair & imaginative than our present outcome indicates, & more deserving, for instance, than of a health plan, that was, not co-op, but rather (Permanent)-State-(Of Emergency)-ist, Hillary-esque statism.

---In the Mid-East it would allow each nation to have a weather eye to its self-defense without having to cave in to religionist fanaticsa/extremists, thereby eventually ending all excuse for all governments to keep arms, which will take the one third [?] of the world government spending used for militarism & move it from being poured down the dead-end drain, to true investment. Were both the Palestinians & Israel lead to adopt preferentiality in just the selection of their foreign policy chiefs, the religious extremist parties would find their influence diminished, peace would be assured, dictatorship, terrorism & theocracy would lose their raison d’etre, governments would be established that would not be too great a threat to free markets, so as not to provoke reaction, yet still allow a sufficient social justice, peace & freedom to reign in all the world, but we can't do that because we don’t have it here.

---In the US it will make the Pro-Lifers irrelevant, yet create the kind of world in which every child would surely be wanted. There is no more important issue than women’s total control over their own bodies. No outcome can amount to anything so long as that does not obtain; overpopulation will just eat up any gains made. It will result in such things as bills being brought to the floor according to the number of co-signers they have & not the whim of leaders for life, paying for defense out of the energy tax, & banning anyone from sitting on more than one board of directors. It will not ever result in anything resembling kowtows to the instant run-off while eyeing Statehood for the District of Columbia, but rather, human scale, bioregionalism. It will result in taxing consumption instead of investment, thereby paying back all that has been taken unjustly by all the endless authoritarians many times over. Also, it will result in the end of the Freed-um destroying Police-Industrial-State Drug War, by merely treating marijuana like beer, & freeing the youth to stand together with authority against the truly dangerous addictive drugs. ("Treat Boo Like Beer (or coffe, actualy) Save Billions a Year") Nor will they be so inclined to waste so much of their energy chasing those drugs. If people work hardest when they work for themselves, it will ensure that the maximum number of people possible do so, by a targeted (for women, youth, victims of previous condition of servitude, neophites to business, what have you) greatly expanded small business administrations. It will in every case result in market-based solutions being instantaneously available for every social justice program suggested by the left, yielding non-wasteful, efficient justice, & just efficiency.

---In the world in general it would allow the common people to overcome all the scheming patriarchical feudalisms pitting each against the other. The program of the real true association is not a program of the cult of personality. It will result in investing in the conditions of peace an amount (at least) equal to that of preparations for war. Between ending militarism & the drug war & freeing the people’s productive capacities it will result in enough wealth for making–up & payback, clean to the Cro Magnons, not to mention victims of imperialism, racism, sexism & feudalism.

---Perhaps, it will even lead to true justice: the once & future great committee in the sky of, proportionally, one male & female of each of the three consenting age groups of literate, householder & elder, of each of the four tribes of man, African, Oriental, Desert (Semitic/Long-Nose/Mediterranean/Hindu/ Euro aristocrat) & (the virtually unmentionable) Nordic, & of each of the three body types of jungle, mountain & plainsmen, or perhaps, random, chosen-at-birth, advisory, publicized, lifetime sinecures, who will be feted all their lives & sought after for wisdom & guidance like democracy’s answers to the Dalai Lama.

---It will result in the elimination of the unconvincing extremes of politics (unless they can win by argument what now they attempt to take by gangsterism (with howsoever smiling a face)), the selection of candidates more exactly in the middle, the settling of many more questions at a time than who’s worse, the transposition of politics from ideological struggle to an a family discussion around the kitchen table &, again, total instantaneous subtlefaction & the fulfillment of everyone’s most heartfelt dreams.

---Good enuf for Australia, New Zealand, Kerala India, London, Ireland, Vermont, FerndaleMichigan, the Green & Libertarian Parties, Utah Republicans & San Francisco & Berkeley Ca, but not for you or I?. Else we'll have everything that would of come of it anyway. The perfect fusion of the bloody warring antipodes of Freed-um & Just-ice! Everyone & everything will have an equal chance to win & politics won't be a matter of life & death any more. If you’re paranoid, though one could not possibly both be afraid & be top dead center at the same time, start your own party, club or local. We're looking to form a non-profit & get grants, became a union delegate behind ranked ballot & taking out classified & full page ads in magazines. Form a green, or democratic, or republican, or libertarian or reform preferential caucus. Seize the Day! Do not think that we will wait forever. We want our freed-um! All powers to their lowest most appropriate level. Help break the logjam. The longest journey is begun with a single step. You can’t get there from here. The condition for change cannot be to have to have everything your way or else you’ll take your ball & go home. Don’t be an example of the classic story of the monkey & it’s nut, who can't get his hand out for not letting go of the nut. What the moon! Vote your heart. Do not die regretful, having run around after the a million details, instead of seizing the perfect answer. Escape the autism of not even giving this (Rorschach test!) your attentive consideration. This is a way.

It might result in a policy of a progressive, straight line, hourly wage. An employer would have to pay each worker a little more for each hour they worked in any week, so as to spread the work around. The Congress would set the slope of the line so as to maintain the maximum employment & productivity. (A happy worker is a productive worker.) Assured of a fair & sufficient share of society's work & production, & thus feeling a part of it all, each would no longer have to engage in shirking & make work, & would therefore strive harder, further increasing the wealth of all. We would have automatic cooperation instead of the waste of conflict.
BUT, it miight also result in unions, or society, adopting the policy of no picketing within "shouting distance" of the sites that are being struck, so as to create not even the appearance of approval of intimidation & extortion. It is really a small matter, would serve their reputation with the general community, & their time would be better spent reaching out to, & communication with their fellow workers, who they're trying to get a leg up on, & the general public anyway.
